Baby objects not working

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place any objects for babys from the crib to the changing table, the playpen and the playtoy you lay under. None of the objects work. The button for changing a baby when he does have a dirty diaper never appears and you can't place the baby nor in the crib, the playpen nor the toy.
What happens when the bug occurs? It just doesn't work. No option available.
What do you expect to see? Being able to take my baby in my arms. Being able to place him in the crib. Being able to use the changing table. Being able to put baby to play in the toy. Placing my baby in the playpen in the living room or the kitchen when I cook.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

I wanted to try the new patch baby options. I had made a wonderful baby room where I was looking forward to trying these new options and making it look like real life. But when I got home form the hospital, I had twins and 2 bassinets appeared on my lot and the babys appeared in those instead of the cribs in the wonderful room. When I click on the crib, the only option I have is playing a song on the mobile, I cannot put my baby in it. When my babys diapper is dirty, The option on the changing table does not become clickable, so I cannot change the babys diaper on the table. I can only do it the old way. When I click on the toy, the only person option I have says Convice an animal to lay under it. And last, when I clicl on the playpen, I have the same option as the crib which is to play a song on the mobile. No other options are there for my baby. Please fix bug fast, I was really looking forwed to playing this part.
I think you have newborns and infants confused. Newborns are objects in game and limited to being in bassinet and some interactions your sim can do from bassinet. Infants are from the update earlier this year and are actual sims. The crib, changing table, playmate, etc. will work once the newborn ages up to infant. You can either wait or there will be an option when you click the bassinet to age up. I believe it is under the newborn care menu or whatever it is called that includes feeding and changing from bassinet.
