Bad AI?
A lot of times my sims come home from work, they just stand outside on the front lawn for hours on end, usually stressed out, just staring into space... Also, every single time I have an outdoor dining area my sims will ALWAYS choose to eat out there, even when it's raining, rather than inside with the comfy dining chairs and nice decoration. Another thing that's annoying is when I want my sims to talk at the same table at a bar, they rarely want to sit at the same table, they will sit and talk with one sim sitting on the piano stool which is kinda far from the table, and they will have a conversation like this.. facepalm. Here's one of many examples that makes me want to straight up quit this game. So I send my sim over to a friends house who has a bar and a hot tub, my sims is pretty good with mixology so I add him to a group to make drinks for both of us at the bar, the friend promptly walks to the direction of the bar, then goes on the computer, both of the drinks are sitting on the bar now, and I click "sit together" on the bar stools, the friend sits at the bar stool for one second, never touches the drink, then goes downstairs to sit on a chair and stare into space like a brainless idiot. Then I try to get them in the hot tub to relax and talk, they both go to the hot tub to sit for like 3 seconds then he goes and works out leaving my sim just sitting alone in the hot tub, who came to hangout with a friend. I could go on and on, the ai in this game is pretty god awful.. I thought coming back after all these updates it might be better, but nope...
