BB Mode Stops Responding and Crashes when I try to search for items in search ba

Hi guys, Recently, every time I attempt to search for an item in build buy on Sims 4 (I'm playing on Mac) it won't let me type more than one letter before the game stops responding and crashes.  I ...

I meant previously. When I start a clean file everything runs fine, it's as soon as I start adding in ANY CC at all. Even just one CC file.

Hi @hdelders What's the full path of the folder you're putting the CC into?

    Electronic Arts > Sims 4 > Mods 

    Then they all go in there as package files, there are no zipped files or any other file types in there. Any lots/sims go into the Tray directly, no sub-folders.

    I used to use the TSR downloader but it started messing up for me since this issue started so I uninstalled it.

    Finder > Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 4 > Mods.

    For testing purposes, could you delete the file called localthumbcache and then put in Mods *only* one of the mods listed as updated in Broken/Updated Mods ? Or download a fresh copy of Better Exceptions (which is useful to have anyway) and put that in, but nothing else.
