Best Gameplay Enhancement Mods?

that stuff is all controllable in the settings. My advice would be to take the time to read the documentation associated with the mod, so that you can be knowledgeable about what the mod is doing to your game and what your options with it are. That especially applies to MCCC, but really it stands true for any mod.

That's the thing, I don't really want to spend time getting to know the mod. I'm just looking for mods that I can quickly install and know what it does and that it works. Maybe some time in the future, but as of now MCCC doesn't have any value to me for what I want/enjoy in my game. I might get to it some time in the future though.

Well I have used mccc, know all about it messing up families had a father with adult triplets and his love that he had been with since he was a teen and he got I think it was two or three other baby mamas...lol. There are a lot of settings that can be useful but it's definitely a heavier mod and while I don't often look for mods sometimes but I have been looking at a few recently. LittleMsSam has some and looks like she keeps them pretty up to date. I have only added the no bill mod when you're invited though not sure if I put it in right just yet haven't been asked out. A small invite to hang out overhaul, improved spa day tablet she has a lot.

I'd recommend browsing through their mods.I have a few including autonomous proposal, which is the cutest thing ever. These change how your sims interact with the world. They also have a true happiness mod which is amazing because you really feel happy for your sims when they are happy because it is because of something special rather than decor.
