Hello, does anyone else have a problem with the body type presets ? I have 2 problems
1. when I select some body presets in CAS and go to live mode, the sim body does not change
2. Even if I select a body type preset that shows up in live mode, it doesn't show up in SimRipper..
I mainly have this problem with children, I haven't tried other ages.
Can anyone help ?
Yes, I've also noticed that bug, since the deformities fix, that no longer works, nor the associated cc sliders, now all the children are visually in a "standard" body destroying the kinship in some cases, the fix was as if they covered it with tape instead of returning the game to how it was before the update that broke it
And do you happen to know if they still plan to fix it somehow?
I'm sorry, I don't know, the Sims team got scared with the morbidity that people were making relating it to "pregnancies" although very understandable, but unnecessary because it was only a graphic deformity of the model and it also occurred in thinness and muscle, I don't care much but a bug is what it is and they should reestablish, at least, the slider that comes by default which is important for the representation of the Sims because right now they can neither be thin nor be more filled, and that affects the stories
CC presets for Children and younger, specifically? Or *all* presets for all SIms?
I've tried it and CC presets and body shapes for kids that don't work, but work for teen and adult.
krissti_na1414 Thanks. This is likely, then, a current known issue with SimRipper's hotfix and with the presets, although this is the first I've seem presets mentioned. A lot of code about children in CAS changed, breaking sliders etc. If you have only the presets installed and remove all sliders and height mods, do the presets work in a new save?
I tried it rn and no. I've also removed all the mods and just left the presets and it doesn't work either way.
For the child presets, are those ones that touch height? Can you give me names of some you have? There've been so few reports for presets (vs. for sliders) that I'd like to do some testing when I get a chance.
