Re: Testers?

I really do think this is done intentionally. Whenever there's a new update, sure, a couple mods will break and script mods breaking is not surprising at all, but custom content usually stays fine for the most part. I don't think I've ever seen an update that breaks absolutely everything. This is just a ploy to get us to use the marketplace. EA is getting too greedy. It's okay for custom content to be paywalled if EA is taking 70% of profits? Ok. Seems like we should just accept it and let the game die since it wants to kill itself so badly. Maybe it's time to give Paralives, InZoi, any other life sim game a try. Fix this issue with mods and custom content that pre-existed before the marketplace. And no, I will not be using the marketplace. Shame on the creators that joined this.

Agree. This is ridiculous and shameful on all levels..... I've said this already, but I WILL be saying it again because I am that infuriated.... THIS IS GARBAGE. A big part of the issue for me as well, is that not only did mods + CC break, my game actually just broke. As game developers, you should never have base functions of your game break for an update.

And also, this "Marketplace" puts CC behind a paywall which is absolutely ridiculous..... How are you going to "move away" from paid packs just to launch another paywall project? And looking at the prices for "Moola".... what is the point if at the end of the day, to get up to the same level of added content from an expansion pack, you will end up paying up to the same amount either way?? This is just a cash-grab and a reframing of the packs in a "prettier" wrapping which is insulting.

This is shameful all around. It's actually impressive they've managed to bring an update to their game that completely breaks all mods + CC and game function 😂😂😂

    What a joke.
