Broken Icons

Since game updated I can't see the top menu or the build buy menu. Even in cas shows up funny and world backgrounds. Its not mod related. Tried with clean game and just base game. Help pls

Did you delete the local thumbnail cache out of your Sims 4 folder? Because that definitely looks like it was caused by an  outdated mod. I had something very similar happen to me last year.

Now whenever there's a new update, patch, or pack I move my Sims 4 Folder onto my desktop and let the game generate a new one when I click play. I test to make sure everything is okay. Once I can confirm the vanilla game appears to be functioning correctly I then put back my mods/cc, saves, and tray items to see if it still works okay.
