Broken/Outdated
WHAT TO DO: Delete these from Mods (though sometimes the list indicates a minor issue you can keep playing through), and delete the localthumbcache file. For cookbook mods, first delete plates and food.
NOTE: Pop-up issues with many current script mods might be resolvable by installing either the updated version of TwistedMexi’s Better Exceptions (v.3.12) or TwistedMexi's new mod "Temporary EA Hotfix - Scripted Menus Not Showing ", but Sim safely: Keep backups. Not all outdated mod issues will be covered by this; this is specifically related to pop-ups, not other UI or gameplay issues.
- game mods by MonoChaos – unsupported and no longer avaiable for download but adoption by other creators is being arranged; see Updated for several now updated by HelenTheHunter and available on CF. MonoChaos requests that you please not ask them about their mods and regrets that they cannot update the text in their website.

Obsolete
WHAT TO DO: For mods that are obsolete because of a patch update, delete from Mods, and delete the localthumbcache file. For mods that are no longer supported, find an alternative before the mod breaks in another patch.

- some phone use autonomy mods – based on patch notes. Players may want to see how the game now performs without their phone autonomy mods. If you still want one, check if it’s reported broken or updated.
