MODS and the GRIM REAPER REWARDS EVENT

Because a number of mods appear to be interfering with the Grim Reaper Rewards Event UI, and because of some other issues not related to mods, and because this is all very new today and lots isn’t diagnosed yet, Crinrict recommends playing through the Rewards Event in a fresh user folder in a new save. Hold on to your whole old user folder to swap back to. If you have Better BuildBuy, first turn off “organized debug” and “moveobjects on”. If you (who previously had BBB) later run into issues with the flower planting, try a Game Repair.

When I’m swapping user folders like this, I rename the user folders something like “The Sims 4 Regular Gameplay” and “The Sims 4 Reward Event.” You can also hold off starting the event for now to see if a patch comes out for the non-mod-caused problems.REMINDER: Turning off mods in settings does NOT disable all mod effects; you need to REMOVE the folder completely, and also see that BBB info.

• Simmatically – Refreshed Main Menu – blocks Rewards Event function
• TwistedMexi – BetterBuildBuy – blocks part of the Rewards Event gameplay; if you must play the Event not in a fresh user folder, try turning off "organized debug" and "moveobjects on" even if you disable mods
• If you didn’t see it earlier: TwistedMexi – TOOL Mod –blocks Rewards Event function

SUSPECTED Issues (not fully tested)

• Deaderpool – MC Command Center – some settings may block parts of the Rewards Events UI during the Event
