BUG? Jazz music option missing from ALL stereos in game

Summarize your bug Until recently Jazz music was always an option on the stereos music options. I saw a fun sims 4 'hack' to get triplets and I wanted to try this out for myself for some fun. you are supposed to woohoo to get pregnant, then eat animal crackers, listen to jazz music, and go fishing and this supposedly gets you triplets every time. I cannot confirm or even try this without the option for jazz music on the stereo. I tried looking for this option on ALL the available stereos in my game. I tried upgrading all the stereos. I tried removing my mods. I have almost all of the sims 4 expansions and kits. if you need a listing of those i can supply that. my registered EA email address: [edit: email address removed] I know how to add custom music to the game and I considered just adding a jazz folder myself, but I don't think that will help me achieve the goal i had in mind for this, nor will it resolve this bug.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to play jazz music on ANY stereo in the game. Option for this music genre is gone. missing from game.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot see, select, or play jazz music in the game on ANY stereo/music player.
What do you expect to see? Jazz music has always been an option in the game until recently. I believe it's missing from the game as a result of a game update perhaps? I don't know! I just need to have the option back in the game for something that I am trying to accomplish and I would very much like this resolved. I tried to submit this issue to EA help desk (claim#133416302) but that was completely a huge waste of my time. After 3 days of getting no where, they referred me here. I am so unbelievably frustrated by this issue and the lack of help i have received so far. PLEASE HELP ME.

    Hi

    Thank you for pointing that out.
    When I enabled Dine Out, Jazz came up. So you are saying that it is a Dine Out specific radio genre?
    I may have confused the two, since I sometimes use the CL's keyboard when accomplishing the "Listen to Music for 2 Hours" section.
    You and @EA_Solaire, sorry to have bothered you two.

    In my case, it was simply a misunderstanding.
    You said you don't have Jazz in your folder, have you tried repairing the game? If you haven't, it's worth a try to see if Jazz comes back in the folder.

    Hey there @kitchenkabuki,

    Jazz is still an available option on the stereos, it's not been removed.

    If you're not seeing it, try moving your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Once you've done that, test the game.
    If it works normally, check for updates to your mods/CC. You can then add them back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?: Now playing only base game, but I have all EP excluding HightSchoolYears; / GP, SP & Kit : OutdoorRetreat, SpaDay, Dine Out, Vampires, Parenthood, JungleAdventure, StrangerVille, DreamHomeDecorator, Werewolves / Spooky, Backyard, VintageGlamour, Toddler, LandryDay, Moschino, TinyLiving, Paranormal / IndustrialLoft, Desert Luxe
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: Listen to, or turn on the radio.
    What happens when the bug occurs?: There is not jazz in the menu.
    What do you expect to see?: Jazz come up in menu
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?; Never used
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?: Not sure

    I tried to listen to the radio for "Musical Genius Aspiration" but there was no jazz menu.
    Now I'm playing the base game only, but there was no jazz on any of the radios.

    Sorry for the tagging. But this was happened in vanilla base game.

    @Pick-a-boo_doo To my knowledge you need Dine out for the station.

    Can you try installing that pack and see if you get it ?

    I did what you suggested. I moved my mods folder to my desktop and deleted the localthumbcache.package. I then opened my game and tested each stereo again and its still a problem for me. no stereos have this jazz station. the music folder doesnt even list jazz - and i never deleted it! So im super confused right now. 

    the only place i can find jazz music in my game is when my sims plays the piano or keyboard, but absolutely no option to listen to jazz on any of the stereos. I still need help with this.

    I have dine out. I have most of the packs and kits actually. I am only missing a few at this point. I used to see jazz as an option, but not anymore. the folder isnt even there in the music folder. I never deleted it. its all so weird.

    @kitchenkabuki The folder usually get created when you listen to the station for the first time. You're saying you had the folder before though so there's no reason for it to get deleted unless you did a factory reset or created a new folder otherwise.

    I also would suggest a game repair to see if that helps with the station appearing.
