Build mode bug

After the Scenario update my households keep bugging even if i don't play in a Scenario story.The following purple square keeps appearing .If i go into build mode when i exit my Sims needs chart and pause,play ,forward buttons disappear and no command works.I have updated the game , i have removed all my cc and mods but it keeps happening,HELP!!!!!!

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
