Buildmode not placing anything

Recently for some reason when I enter build mode to make a house with no person living there it randomly sticks my stuff in the back right hand corner and I can't click anything / place anything down none of the hub is glitched and I can move the camera around still also I don't have any mods installed I have the game on steam / launches with EA - Thanks
