Can’t Expand Family With Neighborhood Stories

I’ve been having this issue for a few months now. My sim’s sister will call her periodically and ask if her and her husband should try for a baby. Every time the option appears, I select yes and she agrees that they should try for a baby, yet she never gets pregnant. She has called 4 or 5 times with the same question and it never works. I’ve been having another issue with the phone calls. My sim’s husband will call her and ask if he should go on a date with another woman. Like, no! Duh! Why would my sim want her husband to go on a date with another woman? Is this happening to anyone else? This has been going on since June so it has nothing to do with the recent patch.
