I have secret society members waiting outside the accommodation, after I have put the highest rank of foods (excellent) but I can’t interact with them. I’ve tried re loading the game but they still just stand outside my accommodation and I can’t interact. I’m not sure what to do

Yes I’m playing in brichester, they stand outside the house accommodation, not the building of flats
in order to join the society, I needed to offer an excellent rated gift, and then I was told that they would come to my house and I would be able to join. However they come to my house, but I can’t actually interact with them and nothing comes up on the screen about joining which it should
