First, to confirm whether it's a mod or cc issue, make a copy of your save, move your mods and cc out of your Sims 4 folder, delete the localthumbcache file, and try playing the copied save and see if the issue still happens.
If removing the mods/cc fixes it, then try posting over here on the mods & cc issues board

I just did it and it fixed the issue but I really don’t want to play without my CC/mods. How do I find the conflicting file?
