Can’t click anything after Sims Delivery update

So I know others have had similar problems, but this one is slightly different. I hadn’t played in a while so my game had to update; when I finally got into the game, it told me that 1. there was one of those “Sims delivery” update drops being delivered, which wouldn’t install until I reloaded the game, and 2. that I had to reload the game to be able to use my mods and CC. All normal stuff, so I exited and reentered the game. Except now everything in the menu screen is all garbled up, like someone was editing it and stopped halfway through. And when I try to click “continue” or any of the buttons on the side (which had worked fine before I restarted the game), nothing popped up and nothing happened. The buttons changed from blue to white when I clicked on them, as usual, but nothing else. I repaired the game, checked if it was my mods, but nothing has worked. What do I do? I’m really hoping I won’t have to reinstall the whole thing.
