Can we add mods/cc back in now that the Grim event has been fixed?

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Most recent
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I am not sure. I took my mods and cc out after the Grim event wouldn't function without it. I am seeking clarification that we can add our mods back in without impacting our game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Grim event does not work
What do you expect to see? With mods in the event does not work
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Can we put our mods and cc back in after the most recent update fixing the grim issues?

    I wouldn't. The event isn't over yet, and week 2 has started a new round of bugs with things not going as planned. I've resorted to using a completely clean set of Sims 4 folders just for the events, and use it exclusively for events. (Was a suggestion last week) in hopes that this will prevent any possible conflicts with mods / CC.

    When not playing the events, I just swap out the Sims 4 folder with my gameplay set of folders, and save it on my desktop until next week.

    So the ones I use are listed as fixed but still do not work with the game. The only mods I use are UI Cheats, McC, and Whims. Everything else is CC like make ujp and clothes.

    @NicoTeop I can not engage with the event. It's just the icon of grim chilling in the corner with no options to engage.

    @NicoTeop Please test like this to rule out mod inteference: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, and run a Game Repair. Now try again. You can "save as" or exit without saving.
