Cannot access Sim on vacation/reverts to world select window

    I noticed I also couldn't go into the Selvadorado lots even in Build mode. So I scoured Origin until I found a Repair (game) option in the settings. Did that, and voila, problem resolved. So after three weeks, and zero help from the devs, I managed to fix the problem myself - now THAT is the type of top notch, players-before-profits level of customer service I have come to love and expect from EA. Kudos.

@gvduck10 Could you please upload it to google or one drive. I had too many virus warning on mediafire. Not using that anymore.

    @gvduck10 I won't have time to check the save till the morning (which is mainly why I asked for pics first)

    I'll get back to you when I had a chance to check it.

    Select Load Game, select Sim. You can see 1 household on vacation:

    Go into Selvadorado.

    Click on household.

    Click play. *load screen*

    Takes me here:

    [infinite loop]

    @gvduck10 OK. now I see what you're doing

    Have you tried going into the main world and load her from her house at all ? That should take you to the vacation world where she is

    I'll try our method on your save

    @crinrictYep. I have tried to both ways multiple times on two different sims and it takes me back to the Select World menu every time.

    And if I try to END VACATION from the world view, it just goes into a neverending load screen.

    @gvduck10 I tested both ways now and it works fine for me.

    When you reset the folder, did you try just putting back the save and nothing else ?

    @crinrictI followed your guide. I did saves, tray, and screenshots. started a brand new game, and then did "save and replace" on the new default folders

    @gvduck10 I'm at loss what is causing this for you as I'm unable to duplicate this on your save.

    @crinrict I have even tried evicting her and then moving her back in, but once again, when I go to the jungle, it lets me select rental lot, number of days and then the infinite loop starts... only thing I haven't tested yet is if it's the lot itself (the cheapest rental) but my patience is running REAL thin

    @gvduck10 Pretty sure my guide has a game repair as a step.

    Since you said you followed that, I kinda assumed you did that.,
