Cannot place lot without it appearing blank

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have no idea, this seems to be bug that occurs only for a lot I have built.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I try to place a 50x40 lot I have built and saved to My Library on a lot of the same size in Copper dale, it appears completely blank. I sometimes receive a notification saying an error has occurred. I have tried resetting and re-downloading Origin and taking to EA Advisors, but nothing works.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my lot appear where I have placed it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
