After the update, I play without mods and I encounter a problem I cannot fix by re-pairing the game. I have a science baby in my household and my Sims (apart from giving him food in a highchair and putting him to sleep) can't interact with him at all - they're not able to bathe him, cuddle or pick him up and take him to another part of the house. I'm able to pick those interactions just nothing happens.
@Darlingfxx1 This is an old thread, and the cause of a problem a year ago is unlikely to still be the cause now. Start by making sure the cause *is* a mod. Yes, I am well aware of the dated year. It was unlikely to still be a cause, I wouldn't have commented and asked for help. Which means it was currently still a problem because it was. One of my sim characters didn't have options to care for her infant and I did not why, so I actually followed the instructions, even if it was a year ago and it helped.
@Darlingfxx1 So you're okay now? Your previous post said that deleting the Chingyu mod didn't help. All current versions of Chingyu's mods are cleared for this week's patch, so you should be able to update that one. If the current version isn't working for you, that's often an installation error (check the installation instructions) or a conflict.
Did you ever get this fixed? I'm having the exact same issue as you and can't fix it
