Can't change my game options due to blank screen on Sims 4

Nothing is showing up on my game options. I can't change anything. I have tried restarting the game and everything. I don't understand what is happening.

    Hi @NeedsRandomness 

    If you use mods or cc, that is the first thing to check.. I had the exact problem, and it was due to Neia's More clubs per sim.. also UI Cheats Extension by Weerbesu which are both now updated. Also, over at SimsVIP they do a regular posting relevant to broken mods and cc after updates.

    If you do NOT use mods or cc.. please let me know.

    Mods do not always need updating. The latest version available (redownload it) will work with the Sims 4 patch 1,41 as this only contained bug fixes no changes to the gameplay.

    what if you have the recent update and it still does not work? i don't have the Neia's mod. Only UI Cheats.
