Can't get sims into a world (MacBook)

Hey! I've been having this problem for about a month now. Every time I try to get a new household into a world, it either deletes to new household and just shows me the world menu or it lets me play but I can't interact with anything and my sims won't load. I tried restarting my MacBook. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I've tried repairing the game. I have also tried restarting the game but nothing had worked. Is there a way I can fix this?
