I'm trying to start a garden in Sims4 on PC, but there's no option to w a t e r the plants. They keep dying even though I've been paying very close attention to everything else, so it has to be because I can't w a t e r them. The plants haven't gotten bugs or had weeds for longer than it takes my sim to get to the plant. How do I fix this so I can finish the garden?
I do use planters, but I also have trees that aren't planted in a planter. The planters are spaced pretty far apart, but there is also no option, not even grayed out, that would allow me to water the plants. I am using an adult sim to perform the action, but I have also tried with teenagers and have the same problem. I am able to water plants at a different lot, but not this one. I attached a screenshot of my garden with a sim showing the actions that are available.
@timablueThere are a few things I am not able to see from the screenshot. But could it be that your planter is facing the fence?
What would happen when you replace the planter with the tree on the left to the middle of the garden?
As far as I can see from the screenshot is the tree in the front recently watered. The ground looks wet to me. Therefor you will not get the option water the plant(s).
@timablueYou probably figured it out by now but in case you didn't, you have to click on the little pile of dirt in the middle of the box and you will be able to water it when it needs it. Hope this help
