can't write show scripts

Hello Support,

i have experienced a bug in the game and all my solution attempts does not solve the issue. The game itself runs great.

My Sim choose the comedian carrer and my daily work task is to write an show script. I see the point in the menu of the PC.

But if i click on the point write show script (don't know the correct word in the english game, i play with a german game), nothing happens. It have worked ago, but now...

The order i gave to my Sim does not apear in the queue.

I can write books, i can write songs, but can't write show scripts.

I read in some forums abot the aspriation bug and cheat the aspirations.complete_current_milestone, but this haven't solved my issue.

I use the game from origin. I have run the failure check and checked for updates. Nothing.

My Mac Specs:

MacOS 10.15.7

iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017)

3,6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Radeon Pro 560 4 GB

Can you help me please :D

    @Lord1988 first try removing your sims computer and replacing it with a new one, sometimes the game is just weird like that from my experience. Also check if your sim is the only one in your household who is unable to do this task.

    If that doesn't work out then if you use any mods/CC I would try temporarily removing it and seeing if the issue persists, it could be a side effect of the new update not cooperating with some of your custom content.

    And if worst comes to worst make a report to EA about the issue just incase it is something related to the new update. Hope this helps 🙂

    ah, i have forget about that. The Computer removing tip i have tryed too 😃 dont solve the Problem.


    I have bought the game right at the moment...it is only the base game...no mods, no DLCs and so on...

    How do I do a report to EA? I thought that forum is officially from EA for bug reports.
