CAS glitching/freezing since latest patch

Opened the sims 4 today (i play on my laptop) after latest update everything seemed fine. Was working no issues up until this point. Went into CAS and its running really slowly, the sim keeps frrezing. Changing betwwen categories eg tops to skirts it takes a couple minutes to load. I did have mods and custom content installed.

I thought i had to much of it so i deleted some still an issue.

I took out all mods still an issue.

Removed all custom content and mods still an issue.

I then removed The sims 4 folder in total as suggested in another post.

Opened The sims 4 started a new game, no mods or custom content. Still an issue.

Ive repaired The sims 4 through origin and still an issue.

So i now have a brand new game, no mods or custom content. Repaired on origin.

But i still cant figure out what is going on?

Have i missed something?
