CAS Not Loading After New Update

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Steam-PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.88.228.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? get to work, city living, cats and dogs, cottage living, discover university, eco lifestyle, get famous, get together, island living, seasons, snowy escape, dine out, outdoor retreat, realm of magic, spa day, vampires, my first pet, and cool kitchen.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? when i try to load cas, it just loads the blank sims and i cant click on anything
What do you expect to see? the normal, functioning cas
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

After the new pronoun update, my CAS stopped working completely. The blank sims that usually show up when you fill out the survey to pick traits are there but nothing else. I can't click on anything and the only way to close the game once I'm in CAS is to close it with task manager. It works when I take out my mods and custom content, but I'm not sure which one is causing the issue. I've attached an image.

    Yeah, the same thing happened to me in live mode when I tried to edit my sims. Currently I'm adding my custom content back into my game in small groups. It's been working so far, give it a shot if you have time.

    @omgitslilyo quick couple of questions - do you have the download patch from friday? Have you tried without mods/cc? Have you done a game repair? Have you - and i know this is a long process - tried to uninstall and re-install the game? Are all of your drivers (particularly your graphics driver) up-to-date? Run through all of this first. If the problem is still there, please post a DXDiag and your system specs so a senior helper can determine exactly where the issue is (your system or the game/patch) and go from there. good luck with it.

    I have tried removing custom content and mods, and I have repaired/uninstalled/reinstalled the game. I currently have only 2 pieces of CC in my game, and it's working just fine. There's probably some specific thing that's causing my issue. Thank you for your comment.

    Actually mine is having the exact same problem. I shut it down with task manager, reopened it, and went to CAS in a save file I already had. The CAS is still broken for me too either way.

    @LxvelyWill 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    Of course. The thing that broke mine was this color slider for clothing and hair. It didn't work for my game and was probably an older version which is most likely why it didn't work. Here's the creator and link for it: [Removed by CM]
