Cas not loading after update

So I recently updated my sims 4 to version 1.99.264.1030. I did the usual process of opening it turning mods and cc on, and then restarting it. Once the game had loaded I clicked on the CAS button on the start up screen, now sometimes it takes a while to load and there is usually a white screen for a minute then it loads. this time i waited around a good 20 minutes and it still hadn't loaded. I decided to close the game and delete the localthumbcache and fix it on steam, and it sill didnt work. and this time, out of curiosity I loaded one of my households and tried to modify them in cas but i couldnt get past the loading screen. So everything ekse seams to be working fine except CAS. I have also deleted my cas background in case that were the issue but i havent deleted cas columns mod and this colour sliders mod.
