Unfortunately you're probably going to have to remove your cc and do the 50/50 method in order to find out why this is happening. I guess if you're really set on not doing that you could try first removing any mods that directly affect CAS, such as backgrounds or columns and see if that helps. 5000 pieces of cc is a lot it could just be to overwhelming for the game at this point to load it all.
