cas tab isnt working

Hi, I'm having trouble in cas because the editting bars in the top corner don't appear anymore.

i have cleared the cache, repaired it in origin multiple times, removed cc/mods.

It works without the cc/mods but only without so im confused if its something in my cc folder or if i need to play without cc now

It looks like a mod, which is modifying your user interface (UI), is broken. We've seen similar issues pretty often in the past.

Here is a small list of Mods that could be the possible cause of your UI issue:

    • UI Cheats and More Columns in Cas by Weerbesu
    • Traits, careers, aspirations and skills
    • Career and School Mods
    • CC Wrench Hiders and the like
    • Color Slider mod by ThePancake1
    • Clean UI, TOOL & Better Build Buy by tmex
    • Custom Clubs
    • Darkmode and PlumFruit

If you use one or some of these it might a good idea to start with them.

Please note, that this is only the tip of the iceberg. Of course the issue could also be caused by any other mod with similar functionality.

    @claXrex Try this, please:

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Make sure you're doing this with the folder the game sees, in case something like OneDrive has duplicated it at some point: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
    2. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Start with New to test if your issue recurs.

    If that works:

    1. Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
    2. Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select an older save to test.
