Case starts all over again every day

Hello everyone. I am having trouble with the detective job once again. Every time I go to work it tells me to get a case assignment. I will complete most of the tasks for one case, but the next time I go to work I lose all my progress on that case and it tells me to get a new one. Please help solve this issue
