Hi! Totally new to this board so sorry if I'm not doing this correctly!
So my game was working totally fine this morning and now I think the save file is corrupted. It opens certain households in the world except the 2 that I'm currently playing. When I try to open those 2 households I get the spinning plumbob for infinity and have to force quit the game to exit out of it. Other households however open completely normally with no issues it's just these 2 which leads me to thinking they are corrupt. I downloaded them to the gallery and tried to reinsert them into my game but that won't load either. I really don't want to have to throw away this save file or these two households as I am doing a legacy challenge and this is generation 6. When I go back to the past households in the generation they open fine, it's just these 2.
For reference I play almost vanilla. I have never had any mods and only have 31 pieces of cc which are all hairs. I know the cc is not the issue too because when I removed it the game still wouldn't work. Then I turned cc off completely and still nothing.
I have repaired my game countless times, reset my laptop several times, as well as completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game and all my packs. I have read several forums but nobody seems to have an identical issue to mine and I have tried a lot of the "solutions" and they don't work. I spoke to a customer service agent at EA for over an hour and nobody seems to be able to help me.
I'm just really frustrated and feeling incredibly defeated at this point as I have spent almost 5 hours trying to resolve this issue with no luck.
