CC Counter Ovens and Stoves become invisible.

For the last couple of months my cc oven have not been working properly, they become go invisible. This applies to all my cc oven from different packs. I've refreshed my game. cleared the cache, checked individual packages, repaired the game (without mods in my folder), and still have the same issue. I heard this was a problem in the past which seems to have started up again.

  • @Rennegadez Try this test, please:

    1. Drag the Mods folder to the desktop
    2. Delete the file called localthumbcache
    3. Open the game to create a new Mods folder
    4. Copy only one CC oven back into the new Mods folder
    5. Start the game to see it that's fixed now.

@Rennegadez Sounds like you have broken CC, then. Try removing the *whole* Mods folder, delete localthumbcache, restart the game to make a new folder. Then try downloading a kitchen from Peacemaker (Simsational Designs) to test - I know those are all working.

Yes. When I said all my file were updated that included my mods. I checked them individually

@Rennegadez I hear that, but that doesn't mean that that more recent version isn't broken. Test a known-working item without the others installed.

@Rennegadez Empty your mods folder, including the Resource.cfg file, so the game makes a new one. The easiest way to do this is to rename or move the Mods file so the game makes a new one. Redownload the CC and add it so it's the only CC/mod there and isn't your old copy, and test in a new save.

We're trying to find out if your problem is that CC or something else, so you need to test it alone, and with a new copy. Test only that one set. I know you've seen it work for others, but we're solving a problem in your mod collection. Making sure something works for you personally, when tested without other CC/mods at the same time, is part of the process of finding what's broken. We're ruling out that you had duplicate files, or a mod conflict, or a problem from other CC breaking this one, or CC sourced from not-the-right-place. We do that with this fresh, very narrow test. If it works, that's awesome! Then we move to the next testing step to find the cause.

I know this reply is late, I've been busy but to respond to your suggestion; yes I redownloaded and upload the mod individual did all your instructions and still faced the same problem.

@Rennegadez Sounds like broken CC, then. Find a different creator, perhaps. Unfortunately, there's broken content on the internet that people have just abandoned.
