CC not showing up

Did you enable Mods and CC in options?

Did you place them in the mods folder that the game uses?

Did it come in a packed format such as zip or rar and you forgot to unpack it?

Yes , all of this has been done. 
i have reinstalled my game , repaired it , updated it , removed the mods folder to get a new one. I’ve ready so many forums I’ve done so much !

What kind of sim were you looking at when you checked in CAS? Because from my experience some CC isnt available for some types of occult sims. I had half my CC not showing up on my vampires. Then I used sims4studio and enabled all my CC for vampires and it all showed up in CAS.

Thanks but I don’t have occult sims in my game. When I go into CAS I try make, female , child and I don’t even get the option to select custom content only from the options but … it just says show purchased content

So you say that you only see purchased here under Content and not the two other options.?

yes , it only says Purchased under the content icon , which I’ve never seen before?

Just to make sure. You said you moved your mod folder once for the game to create a new one. Have you checked CAS with that empty mod folder? Like the game in complete default state.

do you mean opening the game & checking the “content” panel? No I don’t think I have I will check that now

hi. No , still comes up just showing purchased. 
i have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it is still showing the same thing. 

Furthermore , a new Mods folder hasn’t been created? I took the original onto my desktop , loaded up the game and exited out and the only options I have in my EA folder are :

content

custom music

recorded videos 

saves

screenshots

what is happening lol !!
