[CC RELATED] Error Code 102:20ece5dd

She has the error 102 I have the same 102 as well

It's definitely not just one specific cc bed. It seems like it's ALL cc beds LOL! So I deleted the cc beds and boom! Works just fine. Thanks for the info yall! X

@zandraa_d There's many 102. The number after the 102 is important.

For those who have found their culprits, is it only double beds or also single ones ?

Yes!! I have just tried removing cc beds and it works now! Thank you so much for the info guys!

I’m not sure her numbers, she is out of town on a business trip so I won’t know til she gets back. 

I can look later today when I’m home. I do have cc content tho. I can’t get in to edit the lot or do anything. I also am not willing to not have cc content because that is what makes the game fun. My friend doesn’t even have cc or mods and she is having the same problem. Plus, I removed all cc and mods on my game and repaired it multiple times and it still doesn’t work. I can’t even move my other sim in the dorm since I was planning to move two or three sims into the same dorm. Do you think they will fix this soon because it’s very frustrating to buy this game and not even be able to use it! Thanks for your help!! 

She would have to have CC for those codes to pop up. This thing is bugged to hell so who knows if they'll fix it. Good luck.

If you have issues because of cc, you don't need to not have it, you just need to remove/update what's no longer compatible

Beds/Showers are giving issues cause they added shower woohoo and assign bed side for double beds. So all those cc stuff needs to get updated to work with the new functionality. This can probably all be done with a batch fix through S4Studio but I don't think there is one for beds yet.

And: If it's an EA Bug, they will fix it hopefully fairly soon, if it's a cc issue, they won't fix it. CC folks must fix it.

It might be best to post a screenshot of the error you're receiving.

I’m not using any custom showers on the university lot but I do have 2 double beds in the one that isn’t working. The rest are single beds. How can I find out if they are broken or defective with a Mac. How do I do the batch fix!?

I can’t edit in build mode. I also don’t know which beds they are. But I’m confused because even when I took all kids out it still didn’t work!

Is their a way I can get the beds to work in dorms because those same beds work perfectly fine in my houses on lots. I have zero problem with that. But since it’s in the dorm it doesn’t work ? I don’t understand. . Plus, it works in all other dorms in Roxbury but not britchester. 

Yes I did! But then this can’t be a cc problem cause why does only not work in drake hall but nowhere else. Plus that same dorm still didn’t work when I took out all cc and kids

Maybe it's something other you only put in that dorm

Make sure to backup your saves.

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

It's the CC and not the CC.

The CC and Mods with University causes a corruption of the world. If you have a world that you have ever used mods on, it cannot be used with University.

I've tried it a half dozen times.  The ONLY way you can ever play university is by removing ALL mods and starting a blank brand-new world and playing that WITHOUT mods.

Once you load a world into university that you have previously used mods on, it's too late. It won't work. Even if you remove the mods. You'll still get crashes.

I actually uninstalled University because I'd rather have working mods than the University pack, since I can't have both.

In my case that's not exactly true. All I had to do was remove CC beds and CC computers and it's running fine. My sim is still CC as well. Works fine. I've used CC for a little cafe in the town area and that runs well too. I would say it depends on what kind of CC you're using to make it crash. It's not happening to everyone, apparently. Ah well.

Look man, here's what I did. Evict the sims you're using in that dorm. Then bulldoze the lot. Go in the gallery a download the same lot which you can find under Tidal or Briny towers no cc. Upload that new lot then try sending a new character to see if it works.
