If I did the sims 4 update thing would that help! I have a Mac and have so many mods that it would be impossible to figure that out!
@zandraa_d The best thing is to try if it works without anything added at all. Do it on a backup of your save and see if it loads. If it does, it's a mod/cc (a lot have been mentioned in this thread and there's lists that have also been linked that can help you find the culprit)

I have the same problem as everyone else here with the same error code .. i removed ALL CC Beds and PC‘s .. doesnt work anyways .. (i dont use cc showers in the dorm)
when the dorm is uninhabited i can visit it in the build mode without problems .. but when my sims move in the error code appear ..
YES it works with sims in the dorm but without any cc .. but whats the point ☹️
any other idea beside the 50/50 or to play without cc ..?🙄

S4Studio has a batch fix for showers by now but not for beds.So i just think the problem is the game .. it has several problems and is not worked out yet ..
i just build a normal house in britchester and ask as many sims as i can to be my roommates .. same error .. i removed the cc bed that i used and now everything works fine .. sadly i dont live near the uni on the campus but its the best thing for now ..
i think they still have a lot to work on the game .. for example that you cannot change to a dorm of YOUR university (only when the semester begins)
anyways have found a good way to play (with CC, an roommates, ...) hope everyone else does so .. 🙂

Ok thank you. I think my main question is what is causing custom content that works everywhere else in every works just not work in a university dorm? Because wouldn’t that mean it’s not a cc problem if all the cc content works fine in every build except the dorms. Doesn’t make sense to me!
