What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them except My First Pet and Spooky Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It happens either when I am traveling back to my home lot or when I try to load back into my save from manage worlds
What happens when the bug occurs? I get a popup window that says "the game failed to load" with the error code displayed over the select a world screen, and it says that I should relaunch my game. Relaunching the game does not fix the issue, since it seems to happen almost every time I play.
What do you expect to see? It should load back into my household normally.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It only started happening after the discover university patch. ‌
