Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I tell one of my sims to leave their home lot in Willow Creek to a dorm lot in Britechester
What happens when the bug occurs? When I tell my sim to go, it works as normal, even giving me the option to choose which sims I want to go with me, but then once the loading screen finishes, a notice on the screen pops up saying, "This game failed to load. Error Code: 102:20ece5dd:c8dbfb88. It is recommended that you relaunch the game." Once this happens, I can't enter the lot. I've tested with another save file, and that sim was able to travel completely. I've even saved the file as a new save file, and still no dice.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to travel to the lot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I've tried a bunch of different ways to fix this problem, including uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game through steam, and deleting all of my script mods. Most of the sources I found said that script mods were the problem, but I've deleted all of them and the game still isn't working.
I also had a problem with my computer a few weeks ago. I had an error directly after the release of the Goth kit and Castle kit saying I didn't have enough memory, and my whole computer was extremely slow even with the WiFi, and all of my other devices were working fine. I took the computer to get it fixed, and more RAM was added, taking me from 4GB to 8. This current error happened about 2 hours after I booted up the game for the first time after it was fixed, although it could've been in the game for much longer, as I don't think I've had a Sim visit Britechester since December 2023.
@mazxcy22 This error code was caused by incompatible cc beds in dorms in the past.
You said you removed all your mods, does that include cc ?

I've just removed all of my CC and everything, I even went into build mode and checked the beds in all of the dorms, but it still says the same thing.
@mazxcy22 Did you also delete the file called localthumbcache?
Yes, just did. It still isn't working.
