Every time I open my Sims 4 none of my mods or custom content show up in game. It also says that I have no mods installed when I check my cc in settings even though I see them in my mods folder in my downloads. I've tried to reinstall sims and it still is not working, I've also uninstalled all my mods and reinstalled everything but nothing has been working. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to fix this?
Mods/CC go in your Sims 4 mods folder not anywhere else. Please read install instructions where you got it.
@s0meth1ng3 For additional resources, there's a section on how to install your mods here: How to Use Mods and CC . It sounds like you're not using the folder the game is making but are putting your mods somewhere else.
@s0meth1ng3 Sometimes syncing software duplicates folders, so you'll have two called Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. What's the full file path when you use that method? Make sure that's the one you're looking at.
@s0meth1ng3 What you're looking for is a duplicate entire folder, perhaps. Not files in the folder. If you ended up with a folder that got moved by a syncing program then the game made a new folder, you can have two game folders and might be putting mods in the wrong one.
Please follow the instructions for finding the address of the user folder in the Load option in the Main Menu. Copy the entire path, including everything that comes before "Documents", and post it here. We can then figure out if that's where you're looking in your folder structure or rule that kind of problem out.
