CC sims save but dont show up in gallery

I am pretty tech savvy but I'm really new to all this. I downloaded lots of custom content and mods and they all work perfectly but when I save a sim/household that contains custom content to my gall...

    You probably mean the checked box above the description when you are saving a household.

    I mean something different: When you go to "my library" or the gallery there is a new filtering option on the left side for custom content which is unchecked by default, you have to check it: Screenshot

Thank you, that makes sense and should be true but my game ticks that automatically and I can't uncheck it if i want which is perfect. But it claims to save and gives me the little message in the top right but when I open my gallery they aren't there. It's really impractical to have a ton of unplayed/not in world saved households in manage worlds just because I can't save them to my gallery. That's only a bandaid right now, I need to be able to save them normally. ☹️
