@Riverleigh Just to be really clear…. You say in your opening post that you right clicked but then further down referenced shift click when
@JonaO703 suggested it. These are not the same thing and do not elicit the same result.
As
@jpkarlsen has also explained, you need to enable testingcheats true before being able to shift click on the mailbox and disable/enable mood decay.
Sorry if it seems I’m pointing out the obvious but when trying to help it’s really important to be exact with your explanation/instruction. Please try the following, in this order:
- Move your entire Sims 4 folder to the desktop or rename it, whichever you prefer to force the game to create a new one.
- Launch Origin and repair the game.
- Once repaired, launch the game and start a new save, going through CAS etc and onto a lot in Live mode.
- Enter the testingcheats true cheat to enable cheats
- Shift click on the mailbox in Live mode to toggle mood decay
