@ughrxnee TIme to start from an empty Mods folder:
- Drag the Mods folder to the desktop
- Copy your Saves folder there too (so you don't have to worry as much about saving by accident).
- Delete the file called localthumbcache,
- Open the game to test - in more than one save - and exit without saving.
This both confirms that it was mods/CC that need sorting out (which is likely) and gives you a clean Mods folder to work with. If you still have those glitches during this test, please let me know.
If you don't still have glitches, do this next:
- Download fresh copies of mods that have been updated since Feb. 28; this is a useful start point for game-rated mods: Broken/Updated Mods . Check installation instructions for any changes. Add XML Injector (if any of your mods use that) and ModGuard to those. Delete the old copies from your old folder. Put the new copies in the new folder and test.
- Now you have just the non-updated mods in your old folder. Test those in batches. If you have to remove some as part of a mini-50-50 for that batch, delete localthumbcache.
