clothing colour option not vis

All items in the sims 4 cas has no options of changing the colours of the clothing items. For the hair, eyebrows, eyes, accessories, they have the option to change the colour, but when you click on them there is no change and the colour you clicked goes white [as shows in one of the photos linked]. Also some of the boxes, like the gender selector has turned into boxes, and some others have too. But all of the build mode is completely fine.

How do i sort out this problem.
