Clothing from Expansion packs not working [I HAVE NO MODS OR CC]

basically out of the blue all of the clothes/hair/accessories from all the Expansion packs I own (Cottage Living, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get to Work, Get Famous, Get Together and Seasons) stopped ...

If you saved while it was like this then the save is permanently damaged. Either restore an older save or start a new game.
