Clumsy Trait All of a Sudden

@jpkarlsen Thanks for your reply! I’m realizing there are a bunch of pertinent details I left out. When I returned to the game to find J with the clumsy trait, he was wearing a propeller hat. Now, whenever he stumbles or drops something, a little propeller hat bubble appears over his head, and other sims notice his clumsiness and react negatively toward him.
The clumsy trait (banana symbol) doesn’t actually show up as one of his listed traits. When I go into CAS, he only has the three traits I chose for him. I’ve tried to remove the trait using cheats, I’ve had him drink the re-traiting potion…I even had him drink a Potion of Curse Cleansing (J is friends with one of my spellcaster sims). Nothing works, which, as I said earlier, is super frustrating.
Also, for whatever reason, Handiness is associated with this trait. J wants to complete tasks like leveling up in Handiness, and going 4 hours without stumbling (which is a chore since he’s so active and wants to jog all the time). Plus, Handiness is not a skill I want him to work on.
This bug does exist, as I’ve come across forums where other people pose the same question (see link below). There just hasn’t been a solution that I’ve found that works. And look! You responded to that person as well! Your comment is what made me give J the Potion of Curse Cleansing! 😃

@jpkarlsen I did. But since I’m on console, that wouldn’t work for me.
Try restoring a save from before it happened.
@jpkarlsen I tried that as well to no avail. But! I decided to pivot, and use this as a plot twist to my sims’ storyline. I moved a second J Huntington III to the household, but he will be J’s twin brother, Eric Huntington. Eric has all of J’s looks and traits, but none of his clumsiness. Unfortunately, he will steal J’s wife (and life), and will go on to become an Extreme Sports Enthusiast. Not sure what I’ll do with J, but I’ll be sure to give him a great story, and looove! Thanks for your help on this!
