compressed lot 51 script file unzipping as a folder?

Hope someone here can help with this issue. I downloaded Lot51 and it's script file is compressed. I read that you can not have compressed files in the mods folder, but when I unzip it, it becomes a folder with its subfolders in it and I know mods can't be in two folders deep. Am I doing something wrong? Can I just leave the Lot51 script file as a compressed file in my mods folder?

  • A ts4script file is a kind of compressed file, but it should be left as it is. The game knows what to do with it. It's zip and rar files that you need to extract contents of.

  • Their folder can be put directly into the mods folder. The things in their folder that can't be any deeper won't be in a sub-folder. The script mod is the one that can't be in a sub folder.

However, it's odd that you have multiple subfolders in the download. I'm looking at it right now (freshly downloaded) and the only thing there is the script mod, no subfolders.

Did you download it directly from their site or from Curseforge? (Curseforge has it and will install it for you so you don't have to figure it out.)
