constant troubles with my sims 4 game

Hello. I have been having trouble with my sims 4 game. Today, I finally got it all figured out and when I got it figured out.. my custom content decided not to show up on the startup menu ( I see my script mods though) and it is not in my game too because my sims don't have their clothes on. I have an external hard drive that I put my sims 4 game in and it is installed properly. I checked off script mods and the cc/mod option. I need help please.

@cuppicake Hi! Since you mentioned playing the game from an external hard drive, I wondered if perhaps the Mods folder isn't mapped correctly. Do you mind sharing screengrabs of your game folders? Please include at least a view of the The Sims 4 folder as well as one of the Mods folder.
