My Mayor, her son grocer deliver, and grocer owner, Kim have all lost their titles. Although new replacements have showed up in my game. But this is my own fault. I noticed that the mayor, her son and grocer Kim was not in the world. Didnt have a home. Unlike Sara the pub owner and her husband. Sara gets to keep her role and live in house. I felt that the mayor should have a home to. Once I placed them into home, they lost their titles, no jobs. But there are replacements, but I wanted them to keep thier roles, jobs. Down side is, I was in the middle of errand with the mayor and her son. I'm hoping I can finish this errand.
I wanted them to keep their roles.... ☹️

I figured that Sara had her title as Pub owner and living in household with her husband, in their little cottage. Then The Mayor could as well. I know that in earlier sims, bring in npc into households would cause them to lose their jobs. I just thought that it might have changed because of Sara's placement.
- thecharsims4 years agoNew Ace@simvasion I just recently realized this once I went back into game to give the new sims of those roles, makeovers. I never once thought about it before that the sims were placed into homes and that's exactly what happened. I at least moved the sims into the world since I have no way of giving them their roles back.

@thecharsims Yes, moving in counts as 'editing'. Always has been that way.
Bit unsure what you want to create a new thread for ?

After I tested all my mods, I had came back here and asked if I should recreate the thread since it seemed as though my mods weren't the issue and maybe it was a game issue. This was before I realized that the villagers might have been placed into homes, which they were... and that was the actual reason why they lost their roles. I found that out after I posted my question to you about restarting the thread. I'm sorry that I didn't elaborate before.
I wasn't the one that placed the villagers into homes though, the game or maybe MCCC did.
I had decided to just deal with the new villagers who had the old villagers roles and I went into game to give them makeovers. That's when the thought came to me that the original villagers might've been placed into homes. When I went into the household manager tab for "Not in world" to edit the new villagers, it confirmed that the old villagers were indeed moved into homes within one of the worlds. It was after realizing this that I came back here and edited my reply to you to say that I figured out what happened and that it was a simple thing within the game that I completely forgot about.
I hope that all makes sense. I'm sorry.
