@fegrimm02 Hello! If you have any mods, the first thing to do is test your game without them. Move the mods folder to your desktop and delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder before opening the game for testing. If the issue is resolved, then you'll want to test adding back mods a little bit at a time and deleting that cache file each time.
If it's happening without any mods, I wonder if it could be the same as the issue in this thread.
