All my mods are gone, my game isn't working, and I noticed The Sims Recourse site is down too. I'm really hoping EA didn't ruin a good thing for greedy reasons considering free mod usage from content creators has been a core foundation of Sims 4 for the past 12 years... All for a marketplace people aren't going to want to pay for when many players already pay A LOT of money for Sims 4 DLC's alone. I know I've spent at least over $200, so I know most of us will not pay for mods too... 🤦♀️
I hope this will be fixed because I don't think I could bring myself to start completely from scratch again... 😞💔

They are so disgusting and greedy. I hate them for this :(

I have very few script mods, no CC, but a bunch of tuning mods, and I did back up everything before updating. Nothing broke for me, but I honestly I get mods sparingly on purpose to prevent my game breaking.
Maybe list the mods you use to better help narrow which mods are effected? Compiled information helps find out which mods/cc are most effected.

I mostly use script mods and build mods but I do have a few clothing, hair, and makeup mods that fit my personal aesthetic because sims doesn't have much in my style and I really only use them for my one sim. I don't have that much in that way I'm a pretty heavy goth/alt/hippy. There's not that much in Sims itself that I like a lot aesthetic wise but I keep the appearance mods minimal because those can take up space FAST.
