I have played modded Sims4 for the past 4 years and I have never had an issue like this before. I have spent years, looking forward to getting a PC so I could use mods because console didn't support it. So you can imagine my disappointment and displeasure whenever I loaded up my Sims4 today after I saved it last night around 12:42 am, just to see that I had nothing working.
Mods? Crashed. Save? Ruined. Game? Glitched to the point where it's cursed. I can't even play the game like normal without the mods. Hours put into that save file just for this dumb marketplace update to ruin it. I already don't like that the Sims 4 community releases an ungodly number of packs and stuff that should be bundled together but I especially don't like the microtransactions that the Sims community it trying to push onto all of us.
Fix the game and stop pushing things through without taking a second to hear your community. Most of us use mods to add gameplay and items that the creators won't even make. I happen to use my mods to recreate coffee shops and homes that I dream of. I like the custom furniture and appliances that I can use without having to pay extra. I can't afford to constantly buy new packs and stuff bundles, so I will be like most and wait for the days where you finally give your store items a discount.
The same thing happened to me. I can't load any of my households on my save file that I've spent hundreds of hours on. No one wants this stupid marketplace anyway, and they couldn't even bother to make sure the game would be playable with the update? Ridiculous. It's like they are trying to get people to stop playing the game at this point. I am so frustrated and disappointed.
